All year long golfers from across the world have tried to hit a hole-in-one from the platform, where a hook would put the ball in the Bass Strait. Only a few have succeeded with the last making the shot in June 2023.
Funds raised from the challenge goes to the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Tasmania whose mobile dental team visit King Island once a month to deliver critical dental and denture programs to the community.
“Such a generous donation vitally supports the purchase of much needed capital items, such as x-ray capabilities, and denture services, that sit outside of our grant funding,” explains RFDS Tasmania’s CEO, Nicole Henty.
As a not-for-profit health organisation, RFDS Tasmania relies on the support and generosity of individuals and organisations like Ocean Dunes - whether it is donations, fundraising events, partnerships, sponsorships or volunteering.
